Perfect Corp. has integrated the Vidu Fourth Quarter Preview image-to-video model across YouCam Perfect, YouCam Makeup, YouCam AI Pro, YouCam Enhance, YouCam Video and the web-based YouCam Online Editor. The model is available on iOS, Android and the web as part of YouCam’s multi-model approach. Perfect says it generates three- to 16-second clips at 24 frames per second, preserves the source image’s aspect ratio and supports output up to 4K with 10-bit color. The company also claims improved image quality, motion stability, lighting, facial expression and camera control. Users upload a photo and describe motion or camera direction; the model analyzes people, lighting and depth before planning movement and rendering the clip.

The important part is distribution. Putting a new video model inside familiar consumer apps can matter more than a standalone demo because users can compare it directly with other models and existing editing tools. The 4K and 10-bit specifications sound production-friendly, especially for gradients and skin tones, but resolution does not guarantee temporal consistency or truthful detail. I would want side-by-side tests of multi-person motion, facial stability and prompt control before judging the upgrade. Short clips also remain building blocks, not a complete animation workflow.
