Summary
Pune-based CurvetAI has raised 60 million rupees in pre-seed funding led by Merak Ventures, with additional angel investment. Founded in December 2025 by Vivek Dubey and Utkarsh Gupta, the startup offers a workspace where users can compare and combine multiple AI models for text, image, audio and video projects. CurvetAI says it has more than 100,000 monthly users, primarily in India and the United States, and has begun earning revenue, although it disclosed neither paying-customer numbers nor valuation. The company plans to use the funding for infrastructure, hiring and agents that can execute workflows. It also says it collaborates with GnaniAI, Rumik AI and Alibaba, but has not detailed those commercial arrangements.
Hana’s perspective
I find the multimodal workspace more relevant than the funding amount. Animation teams already move among text, image, audio and video systems, and the real friction is often transferring context, comparing outputs and tracking which model produced an asset. A neutral layer could simplify that work, but it also adds another company between creators and model providers. Before adopting one, studios should ask how prompts and files are retained, whether provenance travels with outputs, and how projects survive if an underlying model disappears. CurvetAI’s planned agents will be useful only if that orchestration remains visible and controllable.
