Summary
ZEE Entertainment-backed BULLET Microdrama says it is rolling out more than 100 AI-powered, mobile-first microdramas with seven production partners and the Trinetra AI platform. The romance Do Deewane aur Ashiqui is the first release. According to BULLET, the workflow spans story development, visualisation and production: Trishul scores scripts on more than 100 measures, Rudra supports storyboards, characters, shot breakdowns and video generation, and Damrooh handles dialogue and music. The company says the system will help teams make 60–100-episode vertical series faster and attempt costly settings such as underwater or superhero worlds. BULLET presents the technology as a complement to live action and says it may create opportunities for AI artists outside established production centres. The report does not provide budgets, production timelines, viewing data or detailed human-versus-generated credits.
Hana’s perspective
I see this as a test of whether AI can improve portfolio decisions, not just render shots faster. A slate of more than 100 titles could produce useful evidence about which parts of an integrated workflow actually help writers and producers. It could also magnify formulaic choices if script scoring and audience feedback become substitutes for editorial judgment. BULLET’s claim that AI will complement live action matters, but the practical proof will be in credits, working conditions and the distinctiveness of the finished series. Scale is not the same as creative range, especially in a format already built around repeated hooks.
