Anthropic Adds Editable Animation and Data Dashboard Tools to Claude

Summary

Anthropic has introduced two beta products aimed at business users. Claude Motion lets Team and Enterprise customers create editable animations and export them as video files, while Claude Dashboards connects to company data platforms and customer-relationship systems to build real-time dashboards and analyses from natural-language requests. Anthropic says the tools are intended to help users analyze internal data and make visual content without coding. The company also moved Claude Docs, Slides and Design out of beta and made them available to all Claude users. Reuters reported the launch as part of a broader push by AI companies to expand workplace productivity applications.

Hana’s perspective

Claude Motion is the more relevant release for animation teams because it makes editable output part of the promise. A generated clip that can still be revised is more useful in production than a finished-looking video that must be discarded when one detail changes. The important questions are not answered here, though: how much control users have over timing and layers, which formats survive export, and whether teams can reproduce results reliably. I would treat this beta as a workflow experiment, not a replacement for established motion tools. Its value will depend on whether natural-language creation leads to assets artists can actually direct and hand off.
