ASUS Brings 128 GB RTX Spark Platform to ProArt Creator PCs

Summary

ASUS has announced a global launch for its ProArt P16 and P14 laptops and compact ProArt GR1X desktop, all based on NVIDIA’s RTX Spark platform. ASUS says the systems combine a Blackwell RTX GPU, Grace CPU, fifth-generation Tensor cores, NVLink-C2C and up to 128 GB of unified memory, delivering up to one petaflop of AI performance. The company positions them for local language and vision models, image and video generation, LoRA customization, agent workflows and complex 3D scenes. Its bundled tools include MuseTree, which supports local FLUX and Wan image models, and StoryCube for AI-assisted media organization. Canadian starting prices are CAD 3,499 for the P14 and CAD 4,999 for the P16, with configurations and availability varying by region.

Hana’s perspective

I see the memory capacity as the practical breakthrough, not the peak-performance number. Image and video models often hit VRAM limits before creators exhaust raw compute, so a unified 128 GB pool could make private, repeatable local pipelines more realistic. That matters for studios handling unreleased assets and for independent artists who want predictable costs instead of per-generation fees. Still, ASUS’s performance, privacy and workflow benefits are vendor claims, and cloud systems will remain useful for frontier models and burst capacity. The strongest setup is likely hybrid: local iteration and asset management, with cloud compute used selectively.
